This recipe was just a creation of mine one night. I just had a few things that I needed to use up, and then I added some other ingredients to balance things out. I love making up new recipes by just throwing stuff together. Turned out to be a great tasting recipe that was all about using 1/3 cup of almost every ingredient.
The Thirds Smoothie (Blueberry Cherry)
Makes 1-2 servings.
Ingredients: 1 yogurt cup or about 2/3 cup yogurt (for a more pronounced blueberry flavor, use blueberry yogurt or for a better mix of flavors, use vanilla) 1/3 cup 100% pineapple juice 1/3 cup 100% apple juice 1/3 cup raspberries 1/3 cup blueberries 1/3 cup cherries
Note: I usually use frozen fruit since it requires less effort and won't go bad. If you are using fresh fruit, then you can simply add ice to this recipe until you like the consistency. Probably between 1/2 and 1 cup of ice.
1. Simply add the ingredients in order into the blender and mix until smooth.
