Log Files and Cookies
I use various types of analytics to automatically store anonymous information in server log files. These log files can include information about IP addresses, browser type, basic IP information, referring pages, operating system used and date/time stamps. But this information will not identify individual users. I use the information to administer the site and oversee usage/trends.
Also, cookies may be used to provide easier and faster access to website features such as logins and/or repeat visits. Cookies are very small text files that are stored on your computer for reference purposes. I do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally indentifiable information you have submitted while on the site.
Links to Other Websites
I link to other websites and, though it may be nice, I don’t control them. I cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of sites I link to, though I will never knowingly link to a malicious site. If I do have any questionable links on my site, please tell me: email@example.com
Use of Personal Information
Please note that if you post comments or articles to my blog, any personally identifiable information you provide in those comments or articles may be read and used by anyone viewing them. Don’t be stupid. Only post that which you are comfortable with. I am not responsible for personally identifiable information you may choose to make available here.
At some point I may also provide you with the opportunity to opt-in to receive communications from me, cause you love me that much. If I were to do this, I would ask you for your email address and name. These communications may include a regular newsletter, product promotions and any other information that I feel may be useful to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Again, if you provide me with your email address and/or name for the purposes of receiving communications from me, this information will not be shared with any third-party organization except with your express consent.
Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer wish meto possess your information, you may request correction, updating, or deletion of your information by emailing me at email@example.com
I follow accepted industry standards to protect any personal information you have provided to us. However, I can’t do everything. No information is 100% protected. I cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. You may submit any questions you may have about my security procedures by emailing me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when I believe that disclosure is necessary to protect my rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process served on my website.
