Oranges are a fabulous source of Vitamin C. I remember being a small child and hinting at the possibility of having a sore throat and my mom immediately busted out the oranges, orange juice, Vitamin C capsules and cut out all milk and cheese from my diet.
But here’s the thing, not everyone is cut out to have straight oranges or orange juice every time they’re feeling a little hoarse or need a little extra Vitamin C. Even if you love oranges and think you could eat them all day every day, I promise you will reach your breaking point.
SO next time you or a loved one needs vitamin C think about making them a smoothie featuring oranges and or orange juice instead of forcing the fruit straight down. After all, variety is the spice of life.
