Recipes > Lemonade > Mint Lemonade Cooler
The mint in this recipe will truly add a new dimension to the cool, refreshing effects of a tall glass of lemonade on even the hottest summer day. The frozen lemonade combines perfectly with the cool mint to make a cold drink that really stands out. I highly recommend this for a summer day or a family get together. Everyone will love it.
Mint Lemonade Cooler
Makes 3-4 servings.
Ingredients:
10 mint leaves
1 large lemon
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
2 to 3 cups ice
1. Peel the lemon like you would peel an orange before eating it.
2. Put the lemon along with all of the other ingredients into the blender (putting the ice in last) and blend on high until smooth.
3. Pour and enjoy!
Note: If you let it sit, it begins to melt and the bottom will be all liquid with no ice or frozen aspect to it. You can kind of see it starting to happen in my picture. Maybe you like it that way, it is still tasty after all. If not, you can just put it back into the blender and blend it up again, adding ice if needed. Don’t worry though, it probably won’t last too long anyways. People love it!
