Recipes > Tropical > Mango A Go Go

This recipe was featured on my blog post from January 1, 2015. It is so epic that it helped me ring in the new year. So if you love yourself some tasty mango, then make sure that you don’t look past this recipe.

Jamba Juice has been able to crank out some mighty fine smoothies in their day, so it makes sense that some copycat recipes are around. This recipe right here was actually inspired by a whole set of Jamba Juice themed recipes that you can find at MakeDrinks. I have just (in my non-biased and purely fact based opinion) improved upon and perfected their initial creation.

This one is a super simple recipe that can take a lot of customization and change to turn it into whatever you want it to be. Add a little more coconut for an even more tropical flavor. Add some protein powders, rolled oats or sprouts to give it a special nutritional boost. Or, on of my favorites to add to mango, give the recipe some love in the form of carrots. It lends even more orange to the color scheme along with some fiber and vitamin A.

Whatever you do, go and make this smoothie and then drink it all gone.
