For me the flavor of mangos is somewhat delicate and can easily be lost, overpowered and crowded out. But too much sweetness can cause the tart from the lemon to completely disappear as well. So a fine balance must be struck. For me, this recipe provided a great mix of both the lemon and mango flavors.
Frozen Mango Lemonade
Makes about 3 servings.
Ingredients: 1 medium to large sized lemon 2/3 cup sugar 3/4 cup water 1 cup frozen mango About 2 cups ice
1. Peel the lemon like you would an orange. Open the lemon up and try to remove most of the seeds. Any extras will be blended up.
2. Add the ingredients in the order listed into the blender and mix until smooth. You may need to adjust the amount of ice according to your own desires.
